  • The American Legion

    The American Legion Post 109 and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 109 provide programs for veterans, their families, youth and community through annual events. WWII and Korean War veterans have generously devoted their
    time and talents to the hall for decades, however with only six local Auxiliary members and five Legion members, the hall has been deteriorating over time due to lack of funds.

  • Camp Read-A-Lot

    Helping students become and stay proficient readers is one of the schoolwide
    goals at USD 392. In 2018, with assistance from a Dane G. Hansen summer
    reading grant, "Camp Read-A-Lot" was established as a summer literacy
    program for youth in the community. This program is hosted in the school
    library in conjunction with the USDA free summer lunch program.
