  • Luray Fire Department

    Thanks to a grant from the community foundation, the Osborne County Rural Fire District #2, based in Luray, was able to purchase four new sets of bunker gear for their firefighters. The original gear that was replaced was older than some of the members of their current department!

  • Heart Choices

    Grant funding from the community foundation was used to renovate the previous EMS building in Osborne to serve as a location for Heart Choices Pregnancy and Parenting Resource Center to be used to provide free pregnancy and parenting services.

    This space has created a bright and welcoming space where women and men can receive free, confidential services related to pregnancy, parenting, and relationships.

  • Osborne County Hospital

    The MaxiVenturi Blenders can be used by the new Respiratory Therapist, Brooke Mick, in lieu of a respirator to treat COVID-19 patients. This can also be used for other health issues such as asthma

  • Bringing it Home to OZ

    FLIGHT SQUAD COMES TO ASSEMBLY FUNDRAISER A LETTER FROM GRANTEE STACEY JACKSON
    Thanks to the generous grant support from the Osborne County Community Foundation (OCCF), our organization, Bringing it Home to OZ, Inc. (BIHTO) was able to bring “The Flight Squad” to town on Oct. 24, 2019!

  • The American Legion

    The American Legion Post 109 and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 109 provide programs for veterans, their families, youth and community through annual events. WWII and Korean War veterans have generously devoted their
    time and talents to the hall for decades, however with only six local Auxiliary members and five Legion members, the hall has been deteriorating over time due to lack of funds.
