OSBORNE, Kan.—The Osborne County Community Foundation is accepting applications for spring grants. Online applications open February 1 and are due Friday, April 1, 2022.
Last spring, the Osborne Public Library was awarded a grant from the Osborne County Community Foundation to continue to provide young readers an exciting summer filled with reading and learning experiences. This project purchased new library shirts for youth participants in the summer library program, books for a water safety reading promotion at the Osborne City Pool and books for youth distribution.
This year, grants are available to charitable projects in Osborne County through the following two funds:
- Dane G. Hansen Community Grant Fund - available for programs and projects that address education, health care, community social services and security, conservation and environment, arts and culture, and community beautification.
- Osborne County Community Fund – available for projects that improve the quality of life for Osborne County residents.
Grants will be awarded through a competitive application process. Nonprofit organizations, government and public entities, educational institutions and churches are encouraged to apply. Applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. on April 1. Funding guidelines and the grant application are available at http://www.osborneccf.org/search-apply-for-a-grant.
